Last week I took my ‘What I am Wearing’ Series to The Constantia Village where I went around to many of the fabulous retailers in the centre to try on some of their latest A/W 19 trends. With my professional photographer, Abigail Klopper in tow, I was thrown back to my younger modelling days. I had such fun dressing up in so many gorgeous outfits, it was difficult to resist the temptation of buying them all!

My day started at Carlton Hair where I had my hair styled by Gerhard, followed by a visit to Truworths Elements where I had my make-up professionally applied using Lancôme products. It felt great to be pampered!

Next, we visited Sea Weeds Boutique where I changed into the first outfit of the day, consisting of the casual Sandwich range, as well as shoes & bags from Tsonga.

Thereafter, we made a stop at Poetry where I tried on two different outfits; one consisted of gorgeous neutral colours and the other stunning, vibrant autumnal colours.

We then proceeded to Shop Label where I tried on an amazing pair of jeans that just shaped me beautifully and partnered them with 2 different patterned tops. Swarovski very generously let me try on a few of their rings, which are all utterly beautiful and complemented my outfit perfectly, allowing me to walk around in style, browsing through the Le Crueset range and stopping for a much needed coffee and cake break at Ma Cherie.

After our coffee break we proceeded to the eclectic Larissima Boutique, which stocks the imported brand Desigual, from Spain, where I played around with different combinations of embroided denim items and combined these looks with fabulous shoes from Via Veneto. I have to say; the neutral brogues has to be one of my all-time favourite items.

Next, I made a stop at Sport Unlimited and was pleasantly surprised by the range of clothing they had on offer (not just sports equipment) and selected a casual striped pair of pants and knit for a cosy weekend away look.

Last but by no means least I popped into Linen and Glass and tried on some soft knitted, printed PJ’s and a scarf which I decided to dress up with a leather handbag from Cellini and wear as outerwear! I will be travelling abroad soon and I thought this would make the perfect outfit to wear on the plane, so I look smart but comfortable and don’t have to change.

I just love searching the shops for all the latest collections of the new season’s trends, and now that it’s nearly winter, I’ll be doing just that at The Constantia Village’s upcoming Winter Showcase where retailers will be showing off their fabulous winter collections accompanied by live models.

Winter Showcase dates: 29 April – 5 May 2019

Don’t miss your chance to add the latest winter must-haves to your home ladies!

See you all there!

Yours in fashion,
Julie Ranzani
